Smart Monitoring Escorts Quality: KQET Helps BYD Clean Production Upgrade

In the wave of high-quality development of the new energy industry, the control of production environment cleanliness has become a core link determining product quality. Recently, KQET successfully completed the installation and commissioning of the online monitoring system for BYD's Xi'an cleanroom. Its self-developed KQET-5018S online laser particle counter was officially put into operation.

Targeting BYD's personalized needs, KQET finalized the KQET-5018S as the core monitoring equipment, precisely locking the monitoring of particles of 0.5μm and 5.0μm. This selection is based on a deep understanding of the entire battery production process: 0.5μm particles may affect the uniformity of electrode coating, while 5.0μm particles may pierce the battery separator and cause safety hazards.

Compared with traditional manual inspection, this online monitoring system shows significant technical advantages. With intelligent IoT technology, the equipment can communicate with the host computer in real time via RS485 bus, supporting remote monitoring on multiple platforms such as PC and mobile APP. The system automatically collects data every 5 seconds, triggering early warnings via SMS or email when particle concentration approaches the threshold.

This cooperation not only demonstrates the successful implementation of technical solutions but also highlights the development direction of the clean monitoring field. With the stable operation of the system, the cleanliness compliance rate of BYD's Xi'an plant is expected to increase to over 99.9%, significantly reducing the product defect rate caused by environmental problems.
